Snowman Cookies



First we need the recipe and ingredients.
Skill: Reading the recipe by reading the numbers and symbols.
We also look at the first letter of the ingredient to try to match it to the write one in front of us.
We learned a new fancy word: independent.
Morah Mimi is so proud that we can measure and poor independently.
All the children got a part of the mixture to knead independently.
Skill: Create a big, medium and small ball.
Skill: Use your balls to form as many snowman as you can. 
Sequence: Big, Medium, Small



The children all created them in their own unique styles.
Sammy: Piles her balls upward.
Rolling the circles in confectioners sugar was lots of fun and a great sensory activity.
Jordan forms a doggy snowman.
Skill and Creativity: The children used cashews and raisins to form the eyes, nose and mouth on the snowman.
Then, they wanted to form buttons as well.
