More Snowmen

Skill: The children chose from scraps of paper of all different sizes and shapes to form a snowman.
Prior to this activity: We all looked in to our mirrors to see the placement of our limbs.
We notices that our arms are attache to our upper bodies and legs to our lower.

This was a follow up free art activity.
It was interesting to observe the children discuss what they should use as arms and placement with one another.

Jordan wants to create a monster snowman.
She kept counting the papers on each side to make sure they'd be symmetrical.

The children asked to take out the bead and sequin tray for more choices.
I loved to see the excitement on their faces when it comes out.
It's amazing how respectful they learned to be around it.
They are very careful not to mix compartments and not to tip it over.
