Initials

After many discussions about our initials and first, middle and last names, we painted our initial for our portrait board!
We used permanent paint.  We discussed the difference between permanent and regular or temporary.
The children now love asking if something is permanent or bringing me a permanent market to put away.
Sammy: Don't worry my mother will use Oxy to clean it.

 

We observed and reflected on the paintings on the wall.
We noticed a pattern through all of the artists paintings.
They were all splattered.
Some of the children decided that they would like to splatter their letter as well!
