Juicing

We had a really fun time making our very own fresh orange juice on our visit to Israel.  We learned that Hashem blessed Israel with special soil that's really good for planting.  There are many farmers in Israel for that reason.  We took a look at what an orange looks like before it gets juiced and how it changes once it is done.

 The machine moves really fast when we push down on it!

After the children juiced their orange they observed the changes.

 Chana was sad that the orange was empty.  We observed it and found the juice in the bowl and pulp in the strainer.

It sure was yummy and delicious to have it at snack time.
