 Morah Yehudice:  Does anyone know what star this is on the Israeli flag?
Children: A jewish star
Morah Yehudice:  A Jewish star is called a Magen David!
Anyone have one?
Chana:  My sisters have one on their necklaces.
Jordan and Aiden: I have one at home.
Morah Y.: What Shapes do you see when you look at the Jewish Star?
Children: Triangles
Morah Y: How many Big triangles do you see?
Children:  2
Morah:  Now lets count the small ones they create.
Children: 5

We created two big triangles out of popsicle sticks.

What color should we paint it?  Let's look at the Magen David.  Blue!!

 Morah Yehudice:  We'll be visiting Israel today.  Let's find Israel on the map.  In order to travel to Israel, we must go over the Atlantic Ocean. What type of transportation will we need yo use?  Children: Not a car!  Maybe a boat or a plane?  Aiden:  I went on a plane to Israel.  Morah Yehudice:  Today we board and ride on a plane to Israel.
The children were super excited.
 Before we go to another country, we must have a passport, so the airline knows who we are.  This keeps the airports and planes safe with only good people.
Lets make sure ours is filled out correctly.
