Clay Chanukah Molds

Clay is an integral part of our exploration.
It's amazing to watch the collaboration and creativity that takes place when you give children
authentic materials to work with.
The children's favorite tools are the big wooden authentic tools and the carving pieces.
After learning about how the Native Americans used pottery to form most of their utensils and for documentation, the children have begun engraving and ask for their molds to dry like the Native Americans.

A beautiful sun!

Skills: Socialization, collaboration, respect, independence, motor skills, and creativity
