Welcome! Our first days back:)

Welcome!  We've had such a wonderful experience this week adjusting to our classroom and friends. The children were so happy to see each other.  I hope the pictures and conversations below can give you a little peek into the what took place this past week.  The children did lots of exploring inside and outside of the classroom, socialized:), role played and so much more, all while experiencing the upcoming holiday of  Yom Kippur.
The shapes left in the playdough area were there to inspire friendship and caring at the beginning of the year and connected to the holiday of Yom Kippur.
While creating with playdough, Sammy: "Hannah, here's a heart, because you're my friend!"

After Sammy dropped her the playdough on her textured dress and squeezed it against it,
the children were amazed at what effect it had on the playdough.
Aiden: "Look!"  Chana: "It's bumpy!"  Sammy: "Oh my!"  Hannah (pointing above): "Look there's a rainbow shape!"

"All my friends!"
